Bad Religion NMOH Deluxe (Limited Edition)
June 11th, 2008
Photo of the package by Bryan Sheffield
On July 8th, Epitaph and Bad Religion are releasing NEW MAPS OF HELL Deluxe, this limited edition package is a must have for any Bad Religion fan new and old.
“New Maps of Hell deluxe, Bad Religion’s first expanded-version release, includes the original 16 song NMOH CD, along with seven new acoustic tracks. Three of the acoustic songs are new, written specifically for this release; the other four tracks are new acoustic versions of BR classics such as “Sorrow” and the perennial favorite “Skyscraper.”
Along with that you get a DVD from their record release / myspace show in Vegas (I was there! YAY!), the music video for “New Dark Ages”, a “making of…” webisode, and probably one of my most favorite things, behind-the-scenes footage of Brett and Greg during the recording of the acoustic EP. I actually sat down over the weekend and watched it.
Leave a comment with your email address I’ll hook one lucky fan up with a Limited Ed. picture disk, the “LOS ANGELES IS BURNING” single…hot damn.
Check it out (sorry I’m not the best product photographer…one day…)

June 11th, 2008 at 4:20 pm
I can’t wait for this! They played the acoustic Skyscrapper at all of the recent Hollywood House Of Blues shows. It was really great. I was at 3 of those shows!
June 11th, 2008 at 4:21 pm

June 11th, 2008 at 4:22 pm
Bad Religion is the best punk rock band ever!(Note my email address) I’ve seen them 11 times, and they get better every time. I really want to win, I’m a huge fan and would like to add this to my collection of vinyls. I have every cd, even Into The Unknown. I know almost all the lyrics to their songs, but I’m not sure yet what they all mean hahaha. This band is probably the most knowledgeable band in the history of music. Lyrically and musically brillant. Need I saw more about this band. I’m also planning on getting the Suffer Boy tattooed on my arm, so that should be cool. Well I hope I win, I really hope I win!

June 11th, 2008 at 4:31 pm
I cant wait.. im so wearing my post card t-shirt LOL
June 11th, 2008 at 4:32 pm
Wow. NMOH was great and expanding it is like taking Stanley Kubrick’s 1971 classic A Clockwork Orange, having the writer, Anthony Burgess, visit from beyond, write a sequel, then have Stanley Kubrick himself come back and direct the movie adaptation sequel. It’s simply that complex and amazing. I’m stoked.
June 11th, 2008 at 4:32 pm
Gimmie gimmie gimmie! I’ve been listening to Bad Religion for over ten years now and I still get amped when I put on No Control (or any other album for that matter), besides if I don’t win, how am I going to torture my right wing christian neighbors with loud punk rock music?
June 11th, 2008 at 4:33 pm
This new release is good. I know it. I look forward to getting my hands on not only the new tracks but also the packaging…great music and great artwork.

June 11th, 2008 at 4:58 pm
What’s this? Acoustic tracks?
Hot damn. Now if only I could get a track of Brett playing “Everything Must Cease” solo on Piano, my life will be complete.
June 11th, 2008 at 5:26 pm
I love BAD RELIGION. I have been a fan for a very long time. UMMM in response to TMS Graffin plays “CEASE” and you can get it on the American Lesion cd that was out back in 2000 or 2001. It is out of print but you can get it on ebay for around $40 if you really want it that bad. (I have a few copies but I am not willing to part with them because I don’t know if I will ever find it again.)
June 11th, 2008 at 5:44 pm
mwhahahahahaha i already own a copy of the new maps of hell deluxe edition….it came out on the 6th of june here in europe…..and to top it off i got it on the 2nd of june……and its fucking amazing…..a must buy for everyone!
I have been a major Bad Religion fanatic for many years and own every album (including the BR ep on 7″ and 12″, how can hell be any worse, into the unknown and back to the known) as well as multiple BR tattoos…..so yeah pick me
June 11th, 2008 at 5:48 pm

June 11th, 2008 at 6:09 pm

June 11th, 2008 at 6:12 pm
This is gonna be right up there on my list of prized possesions along with my origonal pressing of “into the unknown”. not the best album BR ever made, but most fans ive met haven’t even heard it. they go for like 150 bucks on ebay so im lucky to have one!

June 11th, 2008 at 6:59 pm
Hey man, you have to pick me for this!!!! Bad Religion is one of my favorite bands ever, and I actually buy/listen to vinyl albums. I’m your guy!!!
June 11th, 2008 at 7:11 pm
Leave it to you guys to wait until I’m unemployed, sounds nifty anyway…
June 11th, 2008 at 7:26 pm
Awe, ginger snaps. That is most definitely off the hinges, yo.
June 11th, 2008 at 7:42 pm
I can’t wait to see this! Of course I’m biased as I did much of the new photo art in the booklet. Either way I’m excited!
=]
June 11th, 2008 at 7:54 pm
awesome now i need some money
June 11th, 2008 at 7:56 pm
I really really hope to get this edition of NMOH as the release dates falls on my mom’s b-day! Either way I will get this edition to complement everything else I own. Autographed and non-autographed. Must not remind myself of my mysteriously lost autographed LATP DVD that dissappeared. (Not kidding it did!) Great, now I need therapy! Off to listen to more BR!
Tina
June 11th, 2008 at 8:00 pm
now this is exciting news, exactly what it takes to sell cd’s that’s for sure. That vinyl is sweet too!
June 11th, 2008 at 8:24 pm
[...] on July 8th, they are going to re-release “Road Maps of Hell”, and with the release will come along seven acoustic tracks, a dvd from their record release show [...]
June 11th, 2008 at 8:49 pm
That is great news I love the NMOH and this is definitely worth picking up again. I’m a sucker for anything acoustic.
June 11th, 2008 at 8:58 pm
ooh ooh ooh!! please pick me or else i’ll crap the bed again.
and i love collecting vinyl.
June 11th, 2008 at 9:37 pm
I really like them, mostly becaus my bf loves them so i started to listen to them and now i love them as well,…and that Limited Ed. would be someting really nice to have.
June 11th, 2008 at 9:46 pm
new maps of hell is one incredible album.
June 11th, 2008 at 10:15 pm
I loved Empire, but this shit is just weak. The acoustic track probably pack more punch.
Besides, making people buy the same album twice is how the music industry works, so why should Brett be any different?
June 11th, 2008 at 10:48 pm
Bad Religion vinyl?! I can’t resist!
June 12th, 2008 at 12:39 am

June 13th, 2008 at 4:53 am

Dear Lord, thank you for giving me your undivided attention. I’ll try to be brief so you can return your energies to the movement of the stars and the condemnation of the votaries. Please hand me this easy victory by giving me this expanded-version release. I’m not saying that if I lose I’ll turn away, but do you really want to take that risk? Amen.
June 13th, 2008 at 12:32 pm

June 13th, 2008 at 1:15 pm
