Whoa this is crazy.
Fron Alt Press: Pennywise lead singer and songwriter Jim Lindberg has announced that he’s leaving the group. Lindberg released this statement:
” After 20 years, nine albums and thousands of shows around the world, my time in Pennywise has come to an end. Being the singer for this band has been an amazing experience, and along the way we made some of the best fans anyone could ask for. There are few things that made me more proud than seeing people at our shows singing our songs, and it’s your support and encouragement that’s kept me going this long. I would sincerely like to thank everyone who helped us along the way and wish everyone in the Pennywise family the best of luck and continued success. Yours truly, Jim.”

This weekend the world’s oldest popular music festival still in existence, Reading Festival in the UK, took place with once again an amazing line up and sold out numbers. And ofcourse Epitaph was there, both on and off the stages: Tiger Army, Pennywise and the Unseen teared up the Mike Davies’ Lock Up Stage while One Day As A Lion’s Zack De La Rocha closed the first night on the main stage. Check out some of the highlights by your Epitaph reporters Alma and Carolina.

This past Saturday was the KROQ Weenie Roast in Irvine, CA. For you old-school Epitaph fans, it was a dream line-up. Bad Religion, Pennywise, The Offspring…just to name a few. Rumor has it James Hetfield from Metallica (they headlined) watched the Bad Religion set.
